Meet Doug Engelhardt

In 1996, Doug joined Mortgage One as a Senior Loan Officer.

He specializes in FHA, Conventional, VA and Rural Development (RD) loans.

He has spent the last 16 years representing a variety of clients, anyone from the first time home buyer to refinancing an existing home.

Mr. Engelhardt brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to every client, offering free advice on budgeting, investing and interpreting your credit score and how it affects they type of mortgage you are eligible for. He enjoys aiding the homebuyer throughout the process, from the initial appointment until the dream of owning a home becomes reality.

Doug believes that the process of buying a home is the largest, most significant purchase any person can make, so he takes special care of each client to ensure the process is comprehensible and runs flawlessly.

He has a team of trained professionals on staff to assist in making the home buying process move quickly and efficiently.

Doug is a graduate of Wayne State University with a bachelor’s degree in Engineering.

He then went on to pursue a Master’s Degree in Administration from Central Michigan University. Prior to joining Mortgage One Doug spent several years as a Senior Account Manager in the automotive industry.

In his free time Doug enjoys boating Michigan’s great lakes and Lake St. Clair with his wife Danielle. He also is a member of BNI Business Referrals Chapter where he has held both the President and Vice President positions.
